An open warehouse gate does not mean loading may begin. Vehicle admission, operational approval, loading and departure authorisation are separate steps. When buying security for a warehouse or bonded facility in Ankara, identifying who owns each step is a more useful starting point than deciding headcount alone.

Describe the vehicle's journey through the facility

A scheduled delivery, return, empty vehicle and unexpected courier may need different admission arrangements. The security post should be able to reach the relevant operational contact using approved information. A registration number on a list does not establish the quantity of goods or confirm that a consignment can be accepted. Those decisions belong to warehouse and dispatch staff and, where relevant, the authorised function handling customs matters.

HSE's warehousing guidance emphasises clear responsibilities and site instructions for visiting drivers. This illustrates why information provided at the gate needs to agree with operational arrangements. Its UK legal provisions should not be treated as legislation applicable in Türkiye.

Keep security checks distinct from dispatch approval

Our suggested review makes it clear what each department verifies for a delivery. An officer may check for a specified document or authorisation without independently deciding matters of commercial content, customs status or loading safety. A standard warehouse admission form is not necessarily sufficient for every transaction in a bonded facility.

  • Is the waiting area and responsible contact clear to the driver?
  • Whose approval is required if departure is requested before loading is complete?
  • How will a mismatch between paperwork and the observed situation be referred for a decision?
  • Will a subsequent change remain visible to the next shift?

Review the night shift separately

If the warehouse contact available by day cannot be reached at night, the same instruction may no longer work. Out-of-hours delivery authority, an unexpected-vehicle contact and technical fault reporting need explicit arrangements. Cameras or alarms do not close that gap unless someone is responsible for assessing the notification.

A handover can include vehicles still on site, outstanding approvals and unfinished tasks as well as keys. The organisation should define the authorised scope and retention of records. The objective is sufficient evidence of the required check, rather than placing unnecessary personal or commercially sensitive information in a general security log.

Prepare an example day before requesting a quote

Select a day covering morning demand, shift change and the final dispatch. Ask how gate duties will work alongside patrols and staff cover. Include two exceptions, such as a vehicle arriving without approval and a fault during the night. These examples help explain the facility's actual working arrangements when discussing service scope with Titan Savunma. A credible plan is judged by clear approvals, responsibilities and follow-up, rather than a promise of zero loss.
